NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Marketing Manager in Brooklyn, New York

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will promote various initiatives and projects led by Professor Elisa Riedo, such as the NYU Ecosystem Hub, NSF Advance Project, NSF AGEP ELEVATE project, NYU Tandon Faculty Development, and the NanoBioX Initiative (NBX). Organize and manage events and initiatives related to these projects, ensuring smooth execution and gathering feedback for improvement. Facilitate internal and external communications, assisting Directors with outreach to institutions, companies, associations, media, and other universities, and prepare promotional materials. Promote the initiatives and marketing events across various platforms, create engaging content for social media, develop and maintain a contact database, and manage content for the NanoBioX Initiative website.This is a two year fixed term role.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Preferred Education:Master's Degree in a related areaRequired Experience:5+ years Proven experience in project management, event planning, and communications, managing budgets, supervision or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using event management and communication platforms (Eventbrite, LinkedIn, etc.). Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Experience in an academic or research environment. Familiarity with NYU policies and procedures. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $62,400.00 to USD $82,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
