JPMorgan Chase Global Financial Crimes Compliance - Law Enforcement Associate in Brooklyn, New York

You will have knowledge of Anti-Money laundering, strong organizational skills, capable of processing high workload volume, adept at navigating a matrixed environment and be able to work independently while exercising sound judgement and acting with integrity. Will perform additional related duties as requested.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You have knowledge of banking systems and AML typologies and be a self-starter willing to work in dynamic environment.

  • You exercise the highest degree of confidentiality and sound judgement in the handling of information while discharging responsibilities while also maintaining high quality investigative standards.

  • You are responsible for researching current events, judicial outcomes and requests from law enforcement/prosecutors and assessing potential AML risk to the firm, based on transactional activity.

  • LEF Investigators, when warranted, will create investigative referrals which are assessed by AML teams for investigative merit.

  • You possess strong data handling, research, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to process a large volume of transactional data.

Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • You have 1-3 years of banking experience AML Compliance, customer contact, brokerage, or service operations area experience.

  • You're a self-starter, creative, capable of working under minimum supervision.

  • You're a results oriented team player.

  • You effectively collaborate with GFCC team members globally, GFC Legal and Advisory

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Understanding of BSA, AML, OFAC and other AML regulatory policies

  • Previous law enforcement/criminal justice experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or in process of pursuing a bachelor's degree preferred.
