Position title: Director of Human Resources
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job summary: The Director of Human Resources manages our office personnel development and ensures that our human resources policies and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to the overall business objectives. He/she also originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment along with the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Align managers and employees with the aspired True Care culture, foster a sense of ownership for our culture and maintain accountability throughout all levels of the company
Manage the Human Resources operations by overseeing the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions
Participate in the development and implementation of the HRIS
Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications
Carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance
Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
Support employee development, enhance job satisfaction, design onboarding procedures and implement HR strategies that support business objectives across the departments
Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing company values
Structure benefits packages and handling all office employee benefits
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Manage staff wellness and performance reviews while motivating and supporting current staff
Oversee and collaborate with the office recruitment team to enhance overall recruitment processes and candidate experience
Manage the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Information system (HRIS)
Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth; monitor the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees
Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant in order to provide company leadership and direction
Provides guidance related to employee performance evaluation, corrective actions and discipline to ensure regulatory compliance; be the mediator for office employee grievances and disputes
Conduct trainings, investigations, disciplinary meetings and performance reviews
Perform other job-related functions, as requested
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Development and experience in HR management
Excellent communication skills
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations and practices
Superior judgment and analytical skills
