Monadnock Construction, Inc Assistant Project Manager in Brooklyn, New York

Assistant Project Manager (Monadnock Construction, Inc., Brooklyn, NY): Assist Project Manager with execution of various new and ongoing construction projects from groundbreaking to occupancy in order to ensure successful construction completion relative to budget and scheduling goals; Plan and design new construction projects; Upload, track and distribute sketches, specifications, and Requests for Information (RFIs); Obtain required permits including New Building (NB), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits; Review designs for basic compliance, compare with project drawings, specifications, sketches, RFIs and scopes of work before submitting to Design Team; Maintain compliance with Monadnock Safety policies and procedures; Track and log reports and Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs); Coordinate and track documents required for compliance with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Multifamily Performance Program and Enterprise Green Communities Certification Program; and Assist and track requirements for Certificates of Occupancy (COs). Same day travel to unanticipated client sites within the NY metropolitan area.Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field and 6 months of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or in a related occupation. Requires experience with: Preparing RFPs; Soliciting and reviewing quotes from potential subcontractors/vendors; Managing and coordinating M/WBE, SVDOB utilization plan, schedule, and report; Managing construction projects; and Obtaining work permits through DOB NOW system.Base annual salary: $125,000Send resumes to: HR@moncon.com
