Who You Are
You are an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong finance background, and a passion for business operations and management. You will play a role in helping multiple clients across different industries by providing in-depth financial and analytical support and guidance. You are a solutions-oriented problem solver who aims to provide the best Client experience. You have experience and enjoy leading a team and operating with a high-level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment. In addition, your expertise encompasses:
5+ years of accounting and financial experience
3+ years working with QuickBooks
2+ years managing a team
Masters Degree in Accounting, a plus
CPA, a plus
Advanced experience in Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent communicator, with the ability to effectively communicate with Clients and stakeholders
Proven ability to handle confidential information and multi-task with ease
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Executing industry research and competitive analysis
You must be able to commute to our Brooklyn, NY office on a regular basis as this is a hybrid position.
What You'll Do
Our clients vary from industry to size, and no two accounts are the same. However, our responsibility to provide sound financial services and operations support across the portfolio is a must. You'll be managing various financial operational and management tasks that include:
Oversee and manage Client accounts, relations, and expectations. Understand client needs and build financial models and analysis.
Assist and guide Clients with financial planning, budgeting forecasting, and cash flow management.
Support Clients during audit and tax preparations.
Take a lead role in building and managing a team, including onboarding, training, and coaching.
Lead team members with the monthly close process and finalize monthly financial statements.
Oversee various accounting processes and provide guidance and evaluation. Review processes and best practices, with an on-going focus on improvement and iteration.
Manage, oversee, and participate in Client presentations.
