Thames Valley Council for Community Action Cafe Site Server in Brooklyn, Connecticut
Coordinate, prepare, serve lunch meal at assigned congregate nutrition meal site; clean and wash equipment used in the preparation and serving of lunch meal; maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work area; establish good rapport with senior center participants and volunteers; complete weekly and monthly paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
This is a 5 day a week position, 19 hours per week, 52 weeks a year.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to work with senior citizens and volunteers.
Reliable, insured vehicle for making daily bank deposit
Must attain ServSafe Certification within six months
