JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Duties: ThoughtFocus Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst based from Headquarters in Brookfield, WI to identify, analyze and document business requirements and related work products in the Asset management/ Alternative Investments domain. Bridge the gap between technology and business in scaling, automating of data processes, business intelligence tasks and reporting services throughout the software development lifecycle. Work with business stakeholders to collect requirements and create a business and functional requirements strategy. Analyze data and create reports as proof of concept before implementing reports for production in investor domain. Design Business Intelligence dashboards and underlying complex calculations to report key alternative investment metrics to C-level executives. Meet business goals and deadlines with help from development team to implement business requirements. Evaluate and enact new changes in business processes by collaborating with development and QA teams. Perform quality analysis on data before releasing changes to business stakeholders as the first line of defense. Analyze data and understand issues in Asset Management, Private Equity, real estate, credit, derivative assets, and mortgage servicing areas to recommend strategic solutions for overall success of the company. Perform data mapping and data analysis on financial data using advanced SQL queries and Excel to provide data-driven insights for achieving business goals and making strategic decisions. Improve infrastructure needs by providing Azure cloud solutions. Design and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and data warehousing to optimize data quality and overall workflow. Design ETL process flow and data flow according to business and application needs from on-premise databases into cloud environment. Support data management initiatives and data analysis. Implement data governance and master data management (MDM) by integrating tools into the existing architecture. Prior knowledge of working with Atacama, Azure Data factory, PowerBI, Azure Devops. Exposure to AI and ML technologies is a plus. May telecommute 5 days per week from anywhere in the United States. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Annual Salary: \$102,000. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 6 months of data science/analytics experience in: 1) Building data models, data pipelines, ETL packages, and designing data warehouses; 2) SQL, PowerBI, and BI tools; 3) MS Office, Excel, VBA and Macros; 4) Cloud infrastructure implementation and Azure; 5) Building PowerBI dashboards using DAX programming and M language; and 6) AGILE methodology.
