PROHEALTH CARE Occupational Therapist Outpatient in BROOKFIELD, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Department operates two inpatient service locations, one on the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Campus and one at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. These two locations combine to complete over 1,700 inpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff care for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and medical diagnoses. The department has 13 occupational therapists, and 3 occupational therapy assistants. Hours: Clinics are open 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8 to 5:00 on Fridays. Looking for an experienced pediatric occupational therapist interested in a flexible schedule and hours in a busy, dynamic outpatient therapy clinic. Peak needs are after school times for clinic coverage. Experience in sensory processing disorders is a necessity, from infant to early adolescence, and certification in SOS feeding is a bonus. Being available for coverage a minimum of 4 shifts per month is a requirement. Full Time / Part Time: Pool/As Needed - no Benefits FTE: 0.01 What You Will Do: Evaluates individuals referred for occupational therapy services.Establishes an occupational therapy prognosis, and plan of treatment.Implements OT treatment for patients based on evaluation results and plan of care.Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment.Collaborates with and provides consultation to others in care delivery.Supervises occupational therapy assistants and aides. What You Will Need: Bachelors of Occupational Therapy. Current BLS certification through AHA(or ability to obtain at time of hire). Occupational Therapist licensure required through State of WI (OTR).
