SUMMARY: Deposit Operations Representatives support a variety of bank operational and retail staff through researching and completing deposit operation processes; and, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and bank best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES North Shore Bank\'s Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major functions of the job. You may be expected to perform other duties specified by your manager. Everyone is expected to contribute whatever efforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to insure the success of the Bank. Processes all decedent requests from the branches, including answering attorney requested decedent correspondence, accurately report interest through the IRS Data Capture System and ensure accurate and consistent responses are made on behalf of the Bank. Completes legal requests such as levies, garnishments, summons, subpoenas and citations and ensure all best practices are followed. Must have a good understanding of State Statutes, account titling/ownerships and regulations associated with these requests including those surrounding customer confidentially. Work with other Bank business units to make sure the bank is not owed money. Research of account records is included. Completes daily system changes to accounts and customer records in Customer Source/Cleartouch. Inspect all completed incoming documents supporting these changes (i.e., signature cards, POA cards, POD cards and POA legal papers, etc.) for accuracy. Receives and sorts all incoming documents and forwards to the appropriate individual or department; archives documents by scanning and indexing into Nautilus.
