The Senior Manager, ABL90 Instruments Production, is responsible for a Radiometer instrument value stream producing the ABL90 instrument. This product is our growing headline of diagnostic devices for Blood gas analysis.

In our production, work is done with manually assembly, incl. test stations and hand tools. Mechanical and electronic parts are assembled, all components are delivered to the production ready to assembly. Packing and delivery to the Finish Goods stock are all part of the area. The final product is our growing headline of diagnostic devices.

This position is part of Manufacturing and Operations located in Brønshøj and will be on-site. You will be heading the ABL90 Instruments Team as Value Stream Manager with, Engineers, Technician & indirect Operators and report to the Director, Instruments Value Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Improvement / maintain healthy and safe working environment for the team.

  • Drive focus on quality & improving flow and lead time to increase production capacity that meet the growing demand, following LEAN.

  • Daily management of production activities in close collaboration with your team of material planning, technical support & teamleader for operators.

  • Improvement / maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment.

  • Interacting with all internal stakeholders influencing the team's objectives short term and long term, such as Engineering, Supply chain, Procurement, R&D and Quality functions.

  • Interaction and cooperation with sister production in Radiometer Suzhou, China.

  • Ensure new product introduction, with success on Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives, to support our core value Innovation defines our future.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor or master’s in Mechanical / Production / Electronic Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience from a production environment.

  • 3+ years Leadership experience managing a team of production support & operators.

  • Production/Project planning experience.

  • Desires and motivation to work in a LEAN culture.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Willingness to work actively with change management.

  • Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 5-10% travel, Europe & China.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience within pharma or medico production.

  • Stakeholder management (e.g. Unions, Support functions).

  • LEAN implementation and production.
