To empower and diversify our agile Life Science Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry team, we are actively seeking a highly motivated project manager with professional experience in a fast-paced R&D environment. A Day in the Life: Experience the Fulfillment of Making a Difference

Your tasks and responsibilities will be diverse and exciting, with the opportunity to engage in projects across multiple sites worldwide. As a project manager you will lead and coordinate initiatives aimed at product cost improvements for our world leading Life Science Mass Spectrometers.

The work includes all areas related to identification, selection, planning, setup, execution, progress tracking and documentation of Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) and other product cost reduction initiatives. This involves resource and budget planning as well as aligning team priorities to the business needs and timelines within our global organization. You will closely collaborate with our R&D and Engineering teams, as well as with decision makers from other functions such as Production, Sourcing, Quality and Product Management to contribute to the product cost improvement goals of our organization. Communication of project updates, key findings and recommendations to senior management is another important part of your work.

Keys to Success

• University degree in Engineering, Science, or related fields.

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.

• Very good knowledge and experience in project management.

• Proficiency in project management tools for planning, tracking and reporting.

• Proven experience in VAVE and cost-out programs is highly desirable.

• Effective at influencing and leading without direct authority.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Open communication to help create a collaborative and diverse environment.

• Ability to lead meetings, drive complex decisions and problem-solving efforts.

• Excellent communication and presenting skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
