Case Manager
Non-profit domestic violence agency is accepting resumes for the position of fulltime Case Manager. Minimum qualifications: B.A./B.S. degree in social science, human services, criminal justice, or related field desired. However, commensurate experience in job related field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Ability to work with people in crisis, Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, proof of liability insurance, the ability to pass background check, maintain confidentiality in relation to client services, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, Ability to coordinate activities, possess good time management and work with limited supervision. Knowledge of domestic violence services, trauma informed and volunteer services is preferred but not required. The ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and be highly selfmotivated is imperative.
Position responsibilities: Provide crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence by giving emotional support and meeting their needs through crisis counseling, advocacy, and other services. Answer hotline calls, screen potential clients for emergency shelter, conduct individual intake/assessment of clients, maintain client files, conduct basic life-skill classes, assist clients with goal and safety planning, transportation, data entry, prepare and/or assist Director of Client Services with monthly reports.
