Summary Dunmore is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Governance Intern with a focus on law, business administration, international relations, political science, or a related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience working on governance-related tasks, particularly within document and contract management. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to understand corporate governance practices and their role in ensuring compliance and organizational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (describe the major responsibilities that are critical to the role) Data Entry: Assist in compiling data for Surveys and Assessments Regulatory Research: conduct basic research on regulatory updates and changes Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving compliance process, document management, internal workflows and assist with solutions Assist with the maintenance and organization of the company's Document Management System, ensuring contracts and other legal documents are properly filed, organized, and up to date. File and organize current contracts and agreements, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete. Ensure that contracts and documents meet the company's compliance standards, and are regularly reviewed and updated as needed. Enter relevant information into the DMS, update contract records, and ensure documents reflect the latest amendments, renewals, or terminations. Work closely with the governance, legal, and risk management teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Participate in team meetings and workshops to gain insights into plant operations and industry best practices. Travel and connect with interns from across the company at the Steel Partners intern summit. Other Duties as needed or required

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Basic understanding of legal terminology and contract structure is beneficial. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Management, Risk Management, or related field Familiarity with document management systems or willingness to learn Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
