An exciting opportunity has arisen within Boeing Defence UK Supply Chain team!
The Role:
This position will be diverse supporting fixed wing military derivative programmes, bringing the programme from conception to execution to operate across commercial, military and global boundaries, along with completing existing programme obligations.
Responsibilities:
Boeing is seeking an expert procurement professional with procurement life-cycle experience to join the team as a Procurement Agent who will be able to:
Implement Supplier management and procurement ensuring compliance with associated Boeing processes
Integrates programme, customer product and in-service strategies into overall Supply Chain solution development
Creation of the supply chain architecture strategy and support internal make buy strategies and workshare decisions to best meet the customer needs
Support development of bid packages including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation (in compliance with the Boeing Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP)
Establish flexible and innovative contracting strategies
Prepare and complete negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements including Proprietary Information Agreements
Conduct risk issue and opportunity management
Support the management of supply and demand schedules, supplier quality delivery and financial performance
Initiates and carries out supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Provide strategic and transactional support to the purchase of goods and services where required
Support the development and maintenance of relationships and partnerships with senior partners, peers and relevant functional areas
Must be mobile & able to visit Boeing Defence and supplier sites in the United Kingdom
Required Qualifications:
Experience in supporting proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience supporting cross-functional teams
Ability to acquire UK SC security clearance
Social skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience working with SAP tools and systems
Experience in working within a high impact bid and proposal teams

Important information regarding this requisition:
