Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Order to Cash (OTC) Functional Lead to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Order to Cash processes within our SAP environment. As the OTC Functional Lead, you will work closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support end-to-end solutions in SAP, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Lead the end-to-end SAP OTC implementation, from requirement gathering through to design, testing, and go-live.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and key users to gather requirements, define business processes, and ensure optimal system design.
Manage the SAP configuration for the Order to Cash process, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Logistics Execution.
Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to ensure seamless integration across modules such as SAP SD, MM, WM, and FI.
Provide expert guidance on best practices for Order to Cash processes and assist with process improvement initiatives.
Lead the creation of functional specifications, business process documentation, and user training materials.
Support testing activities, including developing test scripts, performing unit and integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
Lead the resolution of issues and incidents in the OTC space, working with the technical team to ensure effective problem-solving and timely resolution.
Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth transition to the support phase.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and ensure knowledge sharing.
Required technical and professional expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 10-14 years of hands-on experience in SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes, with a deep understanding of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module.
Proven experience as a Functional Lead in SAP OTC projects, preferably with expertise in full-cycle implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
Strong knowledge of SAP SD configuration, including sales order management, pricing, billing, credit management, and shipping.
Experience in integrating SAP OTC with other SAP modules (MM, WM, FI/CO) and third-party systems.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain operations in mining.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with business users to define requirements, provide training, and support decision-making processes.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage complex projects within tight deadlines.
SAP certification in Sales and Distribution (SD) or related modules is a plus.
Preferred technical and professional experience
· Experience working in Agile or other project management methodologies.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to solve business challenges.
· Experience with global implementations and managing diverse teams.
