Avanade Inc. D365 Supply Chain Management Group Manager in Brisbane, Australia
As an Avanade D365 F&O Supply Chain Management (SCM) you are considered a solution specialist and have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Supply Chain Management Application. This includes cost management, enterprise asset management and warehouse management. You have experience in best practices in supply chain management.
You will be responsible for participating in all phases of the project life cycle including analysing, designing, modelling, testing, training, pre and post Go live support, and deploying suitable and appropriate solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who can work in dynamic conditions and within deadlines.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Contribute across all phases of Avanade projects (e.g., Plan, Analyse, Design, Build, Test, Cut-over and Hypercare)
Lead customer business requirement gathering sessions and standardize business process.
Complete fit-gap analysis and estimate extensions
Work with technical resources to assist in integration design and estimates
Assist Pre-Sales engagements, meeting tight timelines
Leverage functional expertise to configure and extend D365 SCM solutions. You will also be required familiar with Power Platform.
Liaise effectively between clients - end-users and IT staff, larger Avanade team and business partners to ensure high quality and timely delivery
Assess Client requirements and scope and recommend appropriate solutions
Ensure project quality meets standards through being proactive, responsive and following delivery frameworks.
Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery
Support the team in defining technical, operational and user requirements
Train key-users and/or end-users. Support key-users in system integration acceptance testing
Designing and writing technical specification documents
Oversee the timely and effective resolution of client issues
Work under general guidance and direction, but fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decision-making related to work process
Demonstrate knowledge ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies and guide wider team in the project where required
Travel as needed. You may be required to travel based on project demands

Your technical skills include:
Understanding of common Industry standard business practices supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This includes competency in the following modules
Products and Inventory
Procure to pay
Order to cash
Warehouse management
Transportation management
Master planning, demand and supply forecasting
Intercompany trade
Enterprise Asset Management
Production Control
Rebate Management
Cost Management
Other common Dynamics 365 competencies include
Ability to guide customers through data migration tasks including consulting on best practices around data migration.
Familiarity with Data management including configurations
Security framework. roles and best practices
Workflow configurations and designs
Exposure to FastTrack go-live assessment
Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available
RSAT Test Automation suite
Using Azure DevOps (or JIRA when required), test case planning and acceptance testing framework
Basic understanding of Relational Database concepts
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
Your non-technical skills include:
Familiar with the core Microsoft offerings
Consulting experience working with external clients
Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan
Ability to collaborate effectively with a larger team throughout an enterprise transformation
Implementation experience across multiple industries e.g. Health and Public Sector, Manufacturing, Resources, Utilities, Retail, Logistics, Communications and Media, Insurance, Professional Services and Banking
Experience working with global/offshore teams on ERP technology implementation and maintenance projects desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in related field
Preferred Certifications:
MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Unified Operations Core
MB-330: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Supply Chain Management
Preferred Years of Work Experience:
1+ years of experience in Consulting experience.
2-3 years of experience in implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 SCM or previous Dynamics AX version applications.
1 full implantation project lifecycle
