Job Description Summary

As the Account Manager – Patient Care Solutions (PCS), you will create and win sales opportunities through providing market leading solutions for our customers (public & private hospitals) in the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region (including some regional areas). Our PCS portfolio includes monitoring solutions, anesthesia delivery systems, diagnostic cardiology, and consumables. Your success will come from your clinical experience (e.g. nursing / clinical specialist in relevant care areas) combined with your demonstrated commercial and sales capabilities in the healthcare industry. You will embrace technology, have passion for patient care solutions, and are seeking to progress your corporate career. Job Description

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable to achieve Operating Plan targets for assigned accounts and territories

  • Pricing compliance for opportunities to ensure business profitability

  • Accurately forecast orders and sales within Salesforce through management of opportunities

  • Regular customer interactions through meetings, calls and emails to:o Build sales and account funnel to uncover new opportunities through various engagement meanso Qualify opportunities via a discoveryo Progress opportunitieso Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders including C-Suite, Clinicians, KOL’s, decision makers

  • Ensure data quality compliance including the creation of Accounts, Contacts, Events, Opportunities, Business Planning documents and Install Bases in Salesforce

  • Maintain compliance with training to ensure product, customer and market knowledge remains current

  • Increase brand awareness by leveraging social media platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree level in nursing

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant clinical experience e.g. nursing

  • Experience in managing key accounts with a strategic focus

  • A thorough understanding of the capital equipment sales process

  • Ability to build & manage effective, strategic relationships with multiple stakeholders including customers, KOL’s, internal team members and GE HealthCare Leadership team

  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward thinking and customer first attitude.

  • Sales and account management experience in the healthcare industry

  • Proven professional business acumen and strong organisational skills

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact

  • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve

  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows

  • Demonstrate behaviours including empathy, humility, integrity, and resilience

  • Proficient in English, written and speaking
