Job Title: Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee commercial projects in Michigan, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget according to company standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager and engineers, managing everything from project coordination to site safety.
Responsibilities
Manage safety, schedule, coordination, quality, and project closeout.
Maintain daily reports through an electronic system, including detailed write-ups of each subcontractor's actions onsite, manpower, equipment, weather, and deliveries.
Develop and maintain the project master schedule consistent with customer contracts.
Review, inspect, and maintain project quality through daily inspections of trade work installations.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
Proficient in scheduling, including tracking, reading, and administering schedules.
Strong communication skills with subcontractors, validated through references.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic First Aid Training.
OSHA 10-Hour certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with design-build projects.
Trades experience
Experience communicating with customers onsite.
Work Environment
This is a salaried position, exempt from overtime, working 40-50 hours per week out of a trailer on-site. Typical hours are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Superintendents are expected to be onsite anytime a trade is present. Communication is key, and the role offers flexibility as needed. You will use your own vehicle.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00
