  Civil Transportation Technical Manager - Michigan We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team as a Civil Technical Manager. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for transportation project design and aspire to lead and train a team of engineers in technical design skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Technical Manager in our Civil team, you will play a pivotal role in our infrastructure project endeavors. Your responsibilities will encompass both self-performing and leading project teams in the planning and design of MDOT projects. Location: This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. While working from the office, you'll have the flexibility to choose from any of our Michigan locations, including East Lansing, MI, Detroit, MI, or Grand Rapids, MI. The Impact You Will Have: Guide and mentor a team of engineers in technical design skills for transportation projects. Take the lead in planning and executing infrastructure projects, from preliminary design to final implementation. Provide direct assistance to Project Managers and Design Leaders, contributing to the success of our projects. Working on the design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work Contribute to proposal development Directly assist Project Managers and Design Leaders Manage and maintain project documentation Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client

What We Are Looking For: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required 8+ years of roadway design experience MI PE is required MDOT roadway design experience required Experience working with clients such as State and County Departments of Transportation, and municipal.
