Overview Be a part of USU in Kaysville! We are looking for new members to join our team that supports local students! This position works with Interactive Broadcast instructors and students to ensure a beneficial learning environment. A typical shift is spent greeting students and community members that come to campus, troubleshooting basic technology needs, and ensuring that the building is prepared for the next day's classes. This part-time, non-benefited position works in Kaysville, UT. The position hours and days may change each semester but are mostly evenings on Monday through Thursday. Must be available to work Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Responsibilities Assist students and instructors by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of telecommunication classes.
- Assist with special events as needed, such as Extension classes.
- Distribute and collect classroom materials, proctor exams and quizzes, and maintain a proper, quiet, and clean learning environment.
- Maintain accurate class rolls and attendance records.
- Act as a liaison between students, University Instructors, and University Administrators.
- Assist with reception, testing services, and assist USU-Kaysville staff with various projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Basic knowledge of computers * Must be extremely dependable, maintain confidentiality of student information, and always work with integrity * Be able to communicate effectively face-to-face, over the telephone, on IVC equipment, and via electronic communication tools Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn simple technology skills
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting broadcast equipment

Advertised Salary $12.00 per hour
ADA Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
