Job Purpose

TheProposal Specialistfacilitatesand supports captureactivitieswhile collaboratingwith Business Development, operations personnel, internal stakeholders, and teammates.

Duties

• Lead asrequiredwith the design, development, production,and on-time delivery of compliant and competitive proposals and responses to RFIs/SSNs, etc.

• Research, write, and edit proposal content (technical, management, past performance, resumes), collaborating with SMEs, teammates, and othercontributors

• Develop andmaintainmethodologies, procedures, tools, and templates to support proposal/capture efforts

• Develop andmaintainrepository of proposal content (archived proposals, model content, past performance, etc.)

• Support Proposal Manager(s) with coordinating schedule, resources, templates/outlines, writing assignments, color reviews, etc.

• Ensure proposal compliance, and coordinate with teammates, SMEs, internal stakeholders, and other contributors

• Coordinate post-submission activities (lessons learned, ENs, orals) and support final proposal preparation, print/electronic production, and deliver to the customer

• Serve as point of contact for opportunities primed by other companies, coordinating data calls, writing assignments, etc.

• Support capture activities such as win strategy; CONOPs, technical/management/staffing solutions; and win theme/features and benefits development, collaborating with the proposal team, BD, operations personnel, and stakeholders

• Assistwith customer and competitive research/analysis. Assist BD withidentifying, assessing, and qualifying business opportunities to support bid/no-bid decisions

• Provide graphic design support

• Maintain supplies and other resources

• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degreerequired

• Tenacious, pro-active, and responsive approach to gathering and analyzing relevant information

• Collaborative and team-focused individual with a desire to learn and grow professionally

• Resourceful individual who understands all available government research tools

• Self-motivated with the ability to develop creative approaches toaccomplishingobjectives;Demonstratedexcellent oral and written communications, and organizational skills

• Minimum oftwo(2) years of experience in the government market with any of the following: competitor market research, quantitative analysis/decision in support of bid positioning, capture strategy, business development, cost/pricingor acquisition
