Description

We are seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team in the banking industry located in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The chosen candidate will perform critical tasks related to processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer records within the commercial lending team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer credit applications by processing them accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain customer credit records with high precision.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Participate in weekly Commercial Lending team meetings to discuss progress and strategize future actions.

• Utilize banking credit analysis and credit analysis skills to evaluate customer's financial status.

• Work independently without close supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Use analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.

• Leverage strong verbal and written business communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

• Use MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiently to perform job functions.

Requirements • Possess an in-depth understanding of Banking Credit Analysis

• Proficient in Commercial Lending principles and practices

• Possess strong analytical skills with a focus on Credit Analysis

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and banking software applications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role within the banking industry is advantageous.
