Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in BRIDGEVILLE, Pennsylvania. This role involves the application of general accounting principles, business analysis skills, and the execution of various transactional and analytical functions related to the accounting process.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the process of month-end closing

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations

• Perform monthly Profit & Loss analysis

• Ensure maintenance of fixed assets and commissions

• Handle the processing of sales and rental transactions

• Administer sales & use tax, real, and personal property taxes, along with other miscellaneous taxes

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Microsoft Excel to complete tasks

• Participate in the Month End Close process Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• A thorough understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality policies and practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with financial software programs is a plus.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
