Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

• Design control systems for complex automated systems “from the ground up,” including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and HMI programs.

• You will work closely and be very familiar with Allen Bradley and ControlLogix PLC’s & FactoryTalk View and other platforms.

• Experience in both manufacturing and process controls and a strong understanding of instrumentation, analog signaling, and basic electronics would be beneficial.

• Will work closely with Project Engineers to develop and implement error-proofing systems.

• Will work closely with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose daily production issues.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid opportunity with travel involved. You will spend time in the field with customers to help with commissioning and troubleshooting, programming from home, and working in the office or shop floor. Travel is primarily within western PA, with most being in the Greater Pittsburgh Region, constituting about one-third of the job.
