Gateway Community Action Partnership Lead ERSEA Associate in Bridgeton, New Jersey

JOB FUNCTION: The Lead ERSEA Associate is responsible for assisting in the planning, develop and implement Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility and Attendance (ERSEA) Content Area services to Head Start children, families, and staff in accordance with NJ licensing regulations and Head Start Performance Standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Provide input and solutions to develop and or revise the agency's ERSEA systems, policies and procedures * Evaluate, design and monitor systems to process enrollment applications, including determination of eligibility and selection criteria, confirm eligibility for new and participating families * Oversee processing applications for accuracy and timeliness * Prepare and distribute timely reports and tracking regarding ERSEA updates * Maintain systems, database, files, etc. ensuring security of data * Monitor to ensure compliance related to funded enrollment, slot tracking, and attendance * Ensure the ERSEA Department maintains records and data in a confidential manner * Provide training to staff on database documentation, eligibility and topics related to ERSEA regulations, policies and procedures * Ensure sites maintain funded enrollment level and waiting list, assist to fill vacancies as needed at the individual sites and analyze enrollment data to inform the planning process * Analyze causes of absenteeism when average daily attendance falls below 85% * Prepare and distribute timely reports and tracking regarding ERSEA update * Works with the ERSEA Manager, Director of Program Services and Directors of Operations to ensure Family Advocates and Child/Family Site Directors are actively involved with families addressing eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance (plus10% waiting list) * Ensures the maintenance of an accurate record-keeping system and/or develop reports, develop a system of collecting that information through supervising and training the appropriate staff in the proper interpretation and recording techniques of statistics required to maintain accurate information and records * Attend staff, team, and other meetings/conferences as assigned * Provide guidance and technical assistance to ERSEA associates * Perform all other assigned Head Start tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of High School Diploma/GED * Social Work equivalent certification preferred * Associate in Social Work or related field (preferred) * One year Social Services experience * Must have a valid NJ Driver's License and access to an insured vehicle daily
