Hussmann Corporation eCommerce Content Specialist in Bridgeton, Missouri
Overview
Accountable for coordinating, updating, and managing digital content to drive site traffic and conversion growth for an updated ecommerce site. Our goal is to deliver an unparalleled user-friendly online shopping experience in food retailing refrigeration parts, products and services. This new role will be providing the content adjustments needed, so attention to detail and making data-driven decisions will be critical to achieving success. Success in the role can be defined by increased traffic driven to the site (including organic or otherwise) and greater conversion rates.
Responsibilities
Combines existing expertise in sales, marketing, and technology to develop a superior brand and online shopping experience for customers
Partner with outside agency vendors throughout the migration of ecommerce site
Monitor and update the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns (working from templates) to drive traffic and improve conversions
Evaluate and manage site performance, aligning to brand standards and current strategies
Utilizes extensive knowledge of e-Commerce technologies and tactics, especially in product experience management (PXM), product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), mobile device management (MDM) software, as well as sophisticated analytics
Communicates e-Commerce business performance with dashboards through a variety of metrics, and KPIs, including share of search, product page performance
Implementer of SEO through site audits and keyword research, while taking actions on reports to improve site speed and functionality on various devices and browsers
Manage conversion tracking through organic and PPC efforts with digital campaigns
Develop the customer journey from lead to customer, utilizing automation when possible
Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, agency partners and others to execute digital projects and campaigns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred major in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or related field
4+ years of relevant experience with eCommerce
SAP Commerce Cloud site management experience
Proficiency with technical SEO, reporting and related tools, such Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, SEMrush
Ability to understand and edit page structure, indexing, canonicalization, structured data, and backlink management
Experience managing PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Familiarity with ADA and WCAG standards to achieve full compliance with laws and regulations
Able to create content using software in the Adobe Creative Suite (or similar tools) and optimize for social media and web
Capacity to work with social media channels, marketing emails, and digital advertising while tracking their performance with media mix modeling
Detail-oriented and able to solve problems with troubleshooting
Travel 5% of the time
Additional Preferred Skills
Experience with DAM systems
Familiar with commercial refrigeration and/or B2B eCommerce
Copywriting
Knowledge of AI implementation in site widgets
Light HTML for adding tags
Multi-language site experience
