SCHEDULE / OVERVIEW
This is a full-time position in our office in Bridgeport, CT. Days and hours of work can fluctuate, work week runs Monday through Friday and hours are 40 hours per week in off-season and OT may be required during the season.
$25-30
Monday-Friday
Must be able to work in the core office hours of 8:00AM – 6:00PM
40+ hours
Overtime after 40 hours
Off Season (January – March 8 hours / 40 Hours per week)
In Season (March – December 10+ hours / 50+ Hours per week)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CT Road Division
Assist in planning and coordinating all CT projects from inception to completion
Build and maintain relationships with contractors
Working closely with the Lead Estimator on “take-offs” and estimating for Large DOT projects, including analyzing complex projects to help the Lead Estimator in pricing for potential work
Tracking the progress of ongoing work
Tracking Prime Jobs as well as Element Projects
Responsible for setting up new purchase orders and verifying quantities with Districts/contractors monthly
Assist in setting up crew schedules / plans for the week/day
Create work orders
Update Reflectivity Spreadsheet
Cost work orders that come into operation after each shift for PM’s
Assist in scheduling for PM’s
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any issues and proposing solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Teams, Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
Self-starter/problem solver
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
