Position Title: DIRECTOR, DINING SERVICES I - Bridgehampton Club

Salary: $90,000-$100,000/yr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Dining Services at Bridgehampton Club to oversee the restaurant, concession, catering, and club member events. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong operational background to manage both daily restaurant services for members and large-scale social and private catering events. You will lead a team of associates to ensure that both the restaurant and catering services exceed guest expectations while maintaining high-quality food and service standards. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh, innovative approach to restaurant service while also providing support for the social and catering functions, ensuring seamless integration of both aspects to create a memorable dining experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and foster excellent relationships with customers, guests, clients, and internal departments to ensure the smooth operation of dining services.

  • Collaborate with the Chef and management team to create innovative, top-quality menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.

  • Oversee the management of P&L and budgeting for the dining services and catering accounts, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining exceptional service quality.

  • Roll out new culinary programs and initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline operations.

  • Ensure the delivery of superior food quality and timely service for daily dining, special events, and catered functions.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of associates, providing training and professional growth opportunities.

  • Manage inventory control, vendor relationships, and supply ordering to ensure a seamless dining experience.

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety standards and regulations.

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on dining services performance, customer feedback, and operational improvements.

  • Utilize strong computer skills to manage scheduling, inventory, reporting, and budgeting software.

  • Must be flexible and available to work weekends and flexible hours based on event schedules and operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in catering management or food service management in a high-volume setting.

  • Extensive experience in high-volume production and catering services, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Previous experience in catering management in a club or hotel setting is preferred.

  • Proven track record of managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial objectives.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of a top-notch food service organization.

  • Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency with scheduling, inventory, and financial management software.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and flexible hours as needed for events.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
