Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the retail industry, located in BRIDGEHAMPTON, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily tracking of job costs, processing timesheets, work orders, purchase orders, and inventory transactions. You will also assist with analyzing and auditing projects for billing, ensuring a detailed review of revenue lines and expenses associated with the project.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to billing inquiries and requests from clients in a timely and professional manner.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and issues, collaborating with internal teams as needed.

• Process billing adjustments, refunds, and credits accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

• Review customer accounts and billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors as needed.

• Assist with account reconciliations, billing reconciliations, and other financial reporting tasks as assigned.

• Provide support to the billing department with data entry, invoice generation, and other administrative tasks as needed.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing friendly and helpful assistance to clients and addressing their concerns effectively.

• Stay up-to-date on company products, services, and billing policies to provide accurate information and guidance to clients.

• Carry out additional accounting tasks as needed and directed by the Accounting Department. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Ability to administer claims

• Familiarity with Collection Processes

• Strong Customer Service skill
