Description
The Assistant Residential Program Manager (ARPM)is responsible for the health, safety and well-being of assigned residents, as well as providing supervision and direction to house staff. He/she is responsible for assisting the Residential Coordinator with all house and resident monies and oversight of house and property maintenance.
Foggintownis an 11-bed residence set back from the road in a quiet residential neighborhood in Brewster, NY. We are conveniently located near walking trails, restaurants, and shopping areas. The individuals who live here are a mixed group of young adults and older folks who enjoy a combination of quiet relaxation and laid-back outings. Each has a unique personality and their own way of communicating and forming relationships. Most have lived together for many years and feel like a family, but they welcome new, friendly faces. They enjoy personal attention and many benefit from hands-on assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills. A Bachelor degree and one year experience in the DD field is strongly preferred OR an AAS degree and two years supervisory experience in the DD field. Some supervisory experience preferred. Additional education/training in psychology, social work or related field may be substituted for experience in DD field. Must have good communication, organizational and writing skills. Ability to work effectively with others. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a vigorous AMAP course.
HOURS: 40 hours weekly - Tuesday 12p-8p, Wednesday 9a-5p, Thursday 12p-8p, Friday 12p-8p, Saturday 8a-4p
Starting Salary: $20.92- $23.02 per hour plus additional shift differential as applicable
Minimum Requirements
