VP, Chief Compliance Officer

What you’ll do:

As a VP, Chief Compliance Officer, you will have responsibility for strategic planning and operational leadership pertaining to compliance and regulatory issues as well as oversight of a comprehensive compliance program for the organization. The Compliance Officer is a critical member of the organization’s Enterprise Risk Management function and program and reports directly to the Chief Administrative and Legal Officer for Lifepoint Health. This includes direct responsibility for compliance, audit, fraud waste and abuse programs. Collaborates with other leaders and departments to assure Compliance requirements and organizational objectives and targets are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities:

· Develops and implements comprehensive OIG compliance program for the organization, as a critical component of our enterprise risk management strategy.

· Develops, implements, and monitors compliance with critical compliance policies to support program objectives.

· Skilled at developing, implementing, and reporting regarding Compliance programs, initiatives, and successes/failures. Ability to justify and explain areas of non-compliance and corrective action plans to stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and analyze the root cause of non-compliance, or challenges and concerns achieving compliance, as well as ability to develop and implement solutions.

· Excellent communication skills, including effective communication of Compliance strategies, initiatives and corrective action plans to the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership, and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.

· Experience managing compliance reporting programs and software.

· Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations and challenges.

· Skilled at delegation, management, and development of staff.

· Ability to inspire confidence and build trust.

· Manage the development and compilation of reports and meeting content for quarterly corporate compliance committee, Board reports, and Executive Leadership Team updates as necessary, in coordination with the Enterprise Risk Management team leaders.

· Support efforts to develop, maintain and continuously improve documentation, workflow management and project management tools to improve efficiency and collaboration within the compliance function and between compliance, other functions, and facilities.

· Develop and continuous improvement of new-hire and annual compliance training, as well as reporting on completion. Works collaboratively with the Compliance Team and other areas of the company to develop specialized training around key risk areas on an as-needed basis. Stays abreast of trends and identify new training techniques, technologies, and strategies to formulate effective, engaging and risk-based training.

· Develop and manage in collaboration with the Compliance Team, compliance communication and culture initiatives such as annual Compliance Week activities, a “Speak Up” campaign, etc.

· Demonstrated skill and commitment to leading and developing people and future leaders.

What you’ll need:

Education:Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management or related field is required., other appropriate degree, or equivalent experience.
