About the Role

The Tele Practice Area Consultant drives customer awareness regarding the value and competitive differentiators of our products, solutions, and content by conducting telephonic presentations, training, and demonstrations. Through these activities, the Practice Area Consultant increases the number of active users, builds preference and uncovers leads and opportunities to help drive revenue and POS. The Practice Area Consultant will develop subject matter expertise in six key practice areas while simultaneously serving as the account lead for all matters.

Responsibilities:

• Taking proactive actions to increase awareness, the number of active users, and preference of LN content, products, and services

• Partnering with account managers to overcome customer challenges and effectively position them to close significant opportunities

• Identifying and targeting revenue and growth opportunities within assigned markets and/or accounts

• Demonstrating deep product, content or practice area knowledge; acts as an internal resource for sales, marketing, and segment

• Preparing and delivering specialized telephonic customer presentations that communicate our value proposition and competitive differentiators to create new active users

• Conducting competitive research, analysis of findings and sharing information with product, segment, and marketing

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• JD highly preferred

• Strong legal assistant, librarian, or paralegal experience required

• 3+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred; project management experience a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing on account plans and coordinating key stakeholders and resources to positively impact clients

• Ability to lift/carry laptop or IPad and other sales materials up to 25 lbs.

• Ability to travel <10% of the time.
