CoreCivic Power BI Data Analyst in Brentwood, Tennessee

Target Compensation is $90,000 - $95,000 annually.

This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in our corporate office in Nashville, TN (Brentwood area).

The Senior HR Data Analyst is responsible for the organization and analysis of employee data to drive informed workforce decisions which support short- and long-term company goals. Monitors data and emerging trends critical to operational objectives. Conducts data analyses using statistical methodologies and communicates findings and recommendations in a way that informs the organization's actions on critical initiatives. Responds to HR and business needs by developing data reports that demonstrate business trends. Serves as a primary contact for creating and presenting workforce data options, integrations, enhancements, upgrades and production issues.

  • Conducts analyses of workforce data using statistical methodologies and communicates findings and recommendations in a way that supports short and long-term goals and influences the organization's actions on critical initiatives.

  • Leverages reporting and analytics to identify opportunities, patterns and risks. Proactively identifies trends for further management discussion and review.

  • Mines data from various sources. Validates data by reconciliation to neutral source or system of record, understands and explains variances. Analyzes and interprets results using standard tools and techniques. Identifies correlations and patterns in complicated data sets.

  • Serves as primary contact for presenting workforce data options, integrations, enhancements, upgrades and production issues.

  • Automates, generates, analyzes, and distributes recurring HR metrics and ad-hoc reports to the appropriate stakeholders. Translates analytics into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Evaluates and automates processes, data sources and reports to improve the organization's ability to measure programs and outcomes.

  • Collaborates with business owners and subject matter experts to determine data needs, data availability, and to develop custom and ad-hoc reports.

  • Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Three years of experience with HR Analytics, statistical reporting, or business intelligence is required.Additional years of related work experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.

  • Experience with analytic tools, such as Power BI is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical staff, including the ability to document and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form.

  • A high level of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required.

  • A valid driver's license is required.
