Position Summary

Please note: The role is based out of MSBC Headquarters in Brentwood, TN, and has the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment.

Maple Street Biscuit Company (MSBC) is a fast-casual breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant. MSBC is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to take ownership of Maple Street's Prime Cost Management systems for Food Cost and Inventory Management (CrunchTime) and Labor Cost Management (Revel/APS currently; soon to be Workday). This position will deliver technology solutions that streamline store operations, improve reporting, and drive business profitability.

This role requires a deep understanding of restaurant operations, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibility

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Take ownership of the PCM system for Food Cost and Inventory Management (CrunchTime) and Labor Cost Management (Revel/APS currently; soon to be Workday).

· Maintain the integrity of the systems on a daily basis, including troubleshooting errors, and researching issues with the system.

· Provides escalation support involving product to determine root cause.

· Update user accounts and grant permissions based on approved requests

· Perform data validation using various reports generated from systems

· Participate in the execution of test plans to ensure desired results are achieved

· Collaborate with business users and owners to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements

· Serve as a liaison between technical staff and user groups

· Consult with users to identify business needs and requirements

· Perform regular maintenance and testing along with software upgrades to verify effect on existing features and functions

· Contribute to the modification and configuration of systems to meet business needs and stakeholder requirements

· May update and maintain user accounts and manage various permissions

· Collaborate with vendor partners as needed; work with vendors on bug fixes

· May develop, produce, and optimize customized reports in response to user requirements

· Serve as subject matter expert on the capabilities and services within the product and integrated solutions

· Facilitate release management and coordinate communications around product enhancements and releases

· Provide product updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

· Analyze market capabilities to ensure service offerings within the product are competitive in functionality and price

Qualifications

Experience and Education

· BS in related field and/or equivalent work experience

· 2+ years of experience in systems analysis support

· Experience managing cloud-based solutions, specifically in the hospitality industry

· Experience with point-of-sale systems and restaurant-specific software such as (Revel, CrunchTime, Workday, and APS)

· Experience in IT vendor management

Knowledge and Skills

· Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer expectation

· Proficiency in project management methodologies

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

· Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools

· Ability to troubleshoot problems, complete root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· A passion for innovation and a desire to stay up to date with emerging technology trends

· Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time during the workday.
