Position Summary Information
Objective Provide necessary technical assistance for scheduled events.
Required Quals Summary -Associate of Arts degree that includes at least 12 hours of Theatre Arts Courses OR significant related workplace experience in lieu of educational credits. -In-depth knowledge of performing arts, lighting equipment and design, audio equipment, theatre equipment/facility maintenance. -Journey-level skills in electrical, carpentry, audio, and rigging. -Ability to perform heavy lifting, climb stairs and ladders, work long hours, and have a flexible schedule. -Ability to trouble-shoot technical and personnel issues which are relative to the execution of events and performances. -Experience in safe operation of power tools -Ability to work at heights on ladders, personnel lifts, and grid over stage.
