Renee Systems, Inc. has an opening for the position of Sr. Software Engineer (Ref# SSE116DK). Work Location: Brecksville, OH and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, and support software applications, including web-based applications, using Java/JEE technologies. Responsible for various phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering and analysis, design, and code development. Interact with the clients and gather the requirements. Perform requirements analysis for new software enhancements. Plan, document, analyze, and work on business requirements management techniques. Create high-level solution strategy and application architecture. Develop business components using core Java concepts. Design and develop serverless architecture using AWS services resulting in a reduction in infrastructure costs and an increase in application performance. Responsible for the development of completing applications based on the requirement and specification documents. Configure continuous integration tools for automatic build and deployment. Design message flows for routing and data transformation. Perform object-oriented programming using Java. Test verification/validation techniques and assist offshore team in creating test cases. Develop JUnit test cases for the different layer implementations. Create and implement automation for cloud platforms as well as monitoring and alerting purposes. Implement, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, fault tolerant, and self-healing systems on the AWS platform. Use of Java, Spring, MVC, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Hibernate, Eclipse, JavaScript, HML, CSS, JSON, Angular, ReactJS, Web Services (SOAP & RESTful), Jenkins, Maven, AWS, Docker, Splunk, JUnit, Mockito, SQL, PL/SQL, and Windows. Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Developer, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with SDLC, Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, Angular, JUnit, and AWS. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
