Service Champions Trainee, HVAC Maintenance in Brea, California

Service Champions has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC Service Technician Trainee at our Brea location. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills, and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, coils, condenser units, etc.
Demonstrate Respect, Compassion, and Integrity when communicating with clients
Ability to communicate recommendations and services
Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards
Ability to demonstrate punctuality
Participate in weekly meetings for continuing training and development
Experience and Qualifications:
Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
Ability to work with a high degree of integrity and promote a positive company image
Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
Valid driver's license with minimal DMV infractions
Proficiency with mobile devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones, and/or other devices as required)

Work Conditions:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
Moderate exposure to physical risk
Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
