Job Description:

This role is responsible for implementing and supporting multiple Oracle E-Business Suite Financials applications (R12x), which are currently in use globally for Envista. It includes being part of international projects covering multiple Operating Units.

The applications that fall under this area include, but are not limited, to Oracle Financials modules.

Oracle HR, AME and Project module knowledge would be another much appreciated plus.

Oracle SQL and EBS Data Model is requested.

Experience integrating other ERPs will be a plus.

  • Participating to projects to ensure all applications are upgraded to appropriate version levels and operate as-designed.

  • Being involved in addressing the improvement of operational efficiencies with respect to the usage of the Oracle EBS in order to add value to the corporation and increase ROI.

  • Making sure his/her tasks get delivered in time and with high quality.

  • Being Responsible for configuring the Oracle E-Business modules assigned as well as writing functional specifications, testing the software, training end-users and providing general support during and after implementation.

  • Acting as a liason between the user community, IT Technical Services, and other IT Oracle Applications staff members.

  • Responding to user support calls.

  • Coordinate activities with other team members or developers (also off-shore).

  • Being available for travels, according to project needs.

Job Requirements:

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Economics or related fields

  • At least 3-5 years of related experience in the role, preferably in consulting or manufacturing / distribution companies

  • Strong understanding and experience with Accounting and Finance business processes, including O2C, P2P, Intercompany flow and Reporting

  • Experience and knowledge of Oracle E-Business suite implementation methodology

  • Ability to generate project plan and track activities

  • Experience in supporting and maintaining live applications

  • Excellent communication skills and team working

Critical Skills/technical know-how:

  • Experience in supporting and maintaining the following Oracle eBS modules: Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle eBusiness Tax, Oracle Subledger Accounting, Oracle Payment, Oracle Project Accounting

  • Experience in generating ad-hoc queries using Sql*Plus, Discoverer or TOAD is also required

  • Knowledge of integration of Tax third party solutions for US is required, preferably Sovos / Thomson and Reuters

  • Experience in Oracle Enterprice Command Center is a plus

  • Excellent knowledge of the Oracle EBS fundamentals and Data model

  • Oracle Workflow will be considered a plus

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Visio

Critical Experience:

  • Having been part of international full lifecycle Oracle EBS projects for multinational companies, ideally FDA regulated

  • Having acquired experience in designing and driving the creation of complex customizations

  • Having acquired experience in creating interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems

COMPETENCIES – Essential for the role

Knowledge of main Financial processes (P2P, O2C, Period End) to drive the most effective solutions.

Understanding business requirements to get them be converted into Oracle EBS solutions
