Job Description

An employer for a large insurance company is looking for a REMOTE Guidewire developer to join a team of 4-5+ members (both onshore & offshore). This person will be working on Guidewire Policy Center applications, creating webservices for APIs, make changes/endorsements, policy changes, and make it as services within Guidewire. This role is 100% hands on coding/development. When Guidewire projects slow down - this person will be coding/developing on Java/J2E applications.

Role is 100% REMOTE - prefer PST zone. HOURS: 8-5pm

The employment would be for a 6month contract, with possibility to extend contract

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of experience working as a Developer

6+ years of experience with Java/J2E applications

4+ years of experience with Guidewire - Policy Center

Supporting QA & UAT (how to manage bugs, update testing, designing workflow, and preparing design documentation)

Agile Environment BA Degree

Microservices

CI CD

Guidewire Certifications null
