The Lead Newborn Hearing Screener is responsible for completing all state/regulatory reports, monitoring equipment and supplies and maintaining standards of service. This position will also be responsible for performing hearing screening services for newborns at various affiliate sites.

Location:

Trinity medical center/Fl Hospital North Pinellas

Minimum qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent plus previous data entry experience is required.

Must have at least one year of hospital Newborn Screening experience. Previous experience working with children preferred. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize work.

Must meet the physical demands of the position including:

*Moving between rooms and hospital floors freely

*Hearing, visual acuity and fine motor dexterity to use evaluation and computer equipment
