This position is part of the Facilities Management department located in Fargo, N.D. and will be on-site. You will be a part of the Facilities and Maintenance team and report to the senior facilities manager responsible for supervision and performance of building and equipment maintenance on the 2nd shift.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Supervise and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, utilities, and manufacturing equipment on the 2nd shift

  • Plan and coordinate training schemes leading to the development of cross-trained, self-directed work teams in line with total facilities management concepts

  • Regularly plan and oversee work of facilities employees

  • Establish deadlines, priorities, work sequences, and assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and projects

  • Coordinate work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors

  • Ensure clear and timely communications for all activities within the facilities department between shifts

  • Ensure employees are in strict compliance with safety procedures and promptly resolves observed and/or reports identified violations within established guidelines

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Diploma required, associate or bachelor degree in Construction, Electrical, HVAC, or related field preferred

  • Minimum five years maintenance experience required

  • Minimum two years leadership experience preferred

  • Strong mechanical problem solving skills required

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Commercial or industrial facilities maintenance

  • Electronics troubleshooting and repair

The salary range for this role is $75 -90k annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
