In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.

Work Location: Bradenton, FL

This position will analyze journals, subsidiary ledgers, schedules, and other supporting documentation for the accuracy of information and reconciliation. They will complete special projects as assigned and will review and analyze departmental output and associated applications.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain financial models to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making
• Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant information for accurate forecasting
• Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, to explain key drivers of financial performance
• Evaluate the financial impact of proposed strategic initiatives and provide recommendations
• Assess the company's financial health and performance against industry benchmarks
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Communicate financial insights, trends, and recommendations to senior management
• Develop and maintain standardized financial reports for regular distribution
• Participate in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with department heads and ensuring alignment with overall business goals
• Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual performance, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvement
• Provide decision support through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and other analytical tools
• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and assessing their financial feasibility
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by providing financial guidance and analysis
• Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies as needed
• Stay informed about economic, industry, and regulatory trends that may impact the company's financial performance
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Stay current with advancements in financial analysis tools and techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, operations, and other departments
• Mentor and guide junior financial analysts, if applicable

What you need to bring to this role:

• Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
• Minimum 4 years of experience in FPandA and financial modeling preferred
• Experience with Bl visualization tools and data modeling preferred
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Healthcare accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred
