Our client outside of Bradenton, FL is looking to add a Mechatronics Technician Level 2 to their growing team for a full time opportunity! Candidates for this role should have at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, as well as 5 years of experience within a manufacturing setting. If you have basic fabrication skills using a drill press, band saw, grinders or cutters, this role could be great for you. responsibilities:

  • Proficiently use basic hand tools and power tools, with an understanding of their appropriate applications.

  • Demonstrate basic computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products.

  • Interpret and understand 2D and 3D mechanical drawings as well as electrical schematics.

  • Assemble components to meet company standards, whether mechanically or electrically.

  • Know how to level and align assemblies and other build components accurately.

  • Communicate effectively and clearly with team members.

  • Address concerns or issues, proposing solutions when possible, and relay them to leads and the design team for review.

  • Maintain an organized, clutter-free work area, including storing tools and assemblies at the end of the day.

  • Actively engage in project meetings and discussions.

  • Adhere to scheduled timelines and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in all tasks.

  • Minimize assembly quality issues.

  • Assist with debugging custom and packaging machines, following proper flow guidelines (e.g., addressing upstream stations before downstream stations when feasible).

  • Handle specific tasks or items on the manufacturing floor (e.g., nuts and bolts, drills and taps, machine tags).

  • Work efficiently at a high pace while maintaining accuracy.

  • Operate independently with minimal guidance from leads or management.

  • Assemble large and complex assemblies, including electrical panels and mechanical machines.
