The Clinical Director will oversee the Office Manager and Clinical Nurse Leader at their assigned sites. The Clinical Director combines medical office knowledge with clinical knowledge and administrative and office coordination skills. The Clinical Director possesses exceptional leadership skills and is responsible for clinical operations and workflow for their site and for those in their reporting alignment, including, but not limited to scheduling, hiring, staff performance, compliance, budgeting, and productivity. Must ensure all clinical protocols, safety, productivity, and patient satisfaction measures are followed for their sites. The Clinical Director will work closely with site Providers to ensure the success of all clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Director will communicate and interact with all clinical staff to ensure all are successfully operating as a team and supporting the exceptional patient experience. Ensures all policies, procedures, and practices are being followed consistently to MCR standards. The Clinical Director will be flexible to move to and receive different locations either temporarily or permanently at the direction of the Director of Nursing. May cover a site when the Office Manager or Clinical Nurse Leader may be out and perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Nursing.

ou will:

  • Rounds assigned sites weekly to assess performance, build team effectiveness, patient satisfaction, and adherence to clinical and MCR Health policies and procedures
  • Oversee, hire, supervise, schedule, and train site staff
  • Oversee and assist the Office Manager and Clinical Nurse Leader at assigned sites
  • Required to perform clinical duties at sites on occasion
  • Lead, manage, direct, and meet all standards for end-to-end business operations
  • Supervise patient flow within the sites and ensure quality measures, compliance, safety, patient satisfaction, and productivity measures are met
  • In conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer and Accreditation, implement plans to define, monitor, and optimize site performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Create, run, and/or analyze business operations reports as assigned

What you need to bring to this role:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field required
  • Note: 5+ years medical office experience will be accepted instead of Bachelors degree in addition to other experience requirements
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare management and staff scheduling required
  • Licensed LPN/RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required
  • Certified Medical Office Manager (e.g., CMOM) or similar certification preferred Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
  • A valid government Issued photo ID required
  • Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required
