Bozeman Health System Manager of Recruitment & Recognition in Bozeman, Montana

Position Summary:

The System Manager of Recruiting & Recognition will be responsible for overseeing all recruiting efforts, onboarding, orientation, and retention programs for Bozeman Health. This position will manage a team of recruitment professionals and ensure the effective and efficient acquisition and retention of top talent to meet the healthcare system’s staffing needs. The role requires working in the office five days per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

  • Five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition and retention including two (2) years in a managerial role

  • Advanced knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulatory provisions, AA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA etc.

  • Advanced skills configuring and maintaining an application tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment technology

  • Preferred: Master's degree in related field

  • Preferred: SHRM or HRCI Human Resources certification

  • Preferred: Experience in the healthcare industry

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent across all departments. This includes utilizing innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage potential candidates.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six recruitment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team while providing the necessary guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization, including coordinating orientation sessions and providing necessary training and resources.

  • Create and execute retention strategies aimed at reducing turnover and enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement. This involves conducting exit interviews, analyzing data to identify trends, and collaborating with department heads and HR colleagues to address retention challenges.

  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the recruitment and retention processes.

  • Track and analyze recruitment and retention metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and programs, and provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment and retention activities and outcomes.

  • Continuously stay updated with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and retention, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Schedule Requirements

  • This role requires regular and sustained attendance.

  • The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.

  • On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
