This highly visible Design Engineer II will support product quality and product development. The incumbent will interact at all levels of the business, including our General Manager, production managers, and our Shop associates. We are looking for an individual who wants to learn our business, and products to enable further growth and career development.The primary responsibility is ensuring existing product performance, certification of new products and failure analysis. Secondary responsibilities include product design improvements, project management and test lab support. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization. Major Responsibilities: Leads new product development and coordinates all project aspects to ensure successful product launches. Leads projects to improve product safety, quality, and cost of existing products. Conducts technical analysis of product design to ensure product performance. Analyzes product or component failures to determine root cause and corrective action. Perform other duties as assigned.
