The Quarry Sales Manager will report directly to the Quarry Division General Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong background in sales, knowledge of the quarrying industry, and the ability to collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for quarry products.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the construction, landscaping, and road-building industries.
- Market Analysis: Identify new business opportunities and market trends, keeping up-to-date with industry developments to stay ahead of competitors.
- Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams to manage product availability, timely deliveries, and quality control.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
- Pricing and Negotiation: Manage pricing structures, lead contract negotiations, and ensure profitability on all deals.
- Sales Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, using data to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales tactics.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all sales and delivery activities align with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
* 5 years aggregate sales experience preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Clean driving record.
* Strong understanding of quarry operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
