Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, data entry, and filing.

  • Create and/or complete forms, reports, and other documents.

  • Maintain financial, student enrollment, and other program information efficiently and consistently.

  • Assist with registration of students/participants in CPD and Lifelong Learning courses and events including the collection of fees in the form of cash, credit cards, and checks.

  • Respond to inquiries regarding program details in person, over the phone, or by email.

  • Ensure that physical and digital files are complete and organized.

  • Maintain files according to record retention policies of the university and according to specific program requirements.

  • Provide enthusiastic customer service to internal and external CPD customers. Examples include: individuals requesting information, individuals attending courses or events, and WKU colleagues.

  • Assist with special projects and programs.

  • Assist Conference Services in Event Management as a greeter and customer support

  • Additional duties deemed necessary to support programs and achieve departmental goals. Some programs and events may require work outside of customary business hours.

    Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, plus one year of clerical experience

    Additional Information:

Hourly Range: $12 - $14/hr
