Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products Operating Technician in Bowling Green, Kentucky
General Duties:
Ensuring consistent basic quality standards and procedures.
Strive to meet KAAP performance goals & requirements for work area.
Ensures equipment utilization is at a maximum operational availability.
Works directly with maintenance to ensure equipment up time.
Promotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for themselves and other KAAP employees in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.
Assist in the preparation of daily production reports and maintain appropriate records.
Ensure all SOP are followed and not deviated from.
Other duties as assigned by leadership team
Skills:
Understanding and utilization of 5S concept.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Requirements:
High school degree or GED equivalency.
Must be willing to work a (4 Star) 12-hour shifts (willing to work every other weekend and some holidays). Shifts are either 5:00 AM to 5:10 PM or 5:00 PM to 5:10 PM.
Able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods, to include but not limited to: lifting, walking, standing, stooping, pulling, and pushing.
Willing to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations; including wearing personal protective equipment.
Willing to work in the elements.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Good interpersonal skills & Communication skills preferred.
