Fruit of the Loom Assistant Brand Comm Manager-Russell Athletic in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Description/Job Summary Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Brand Communication Manager *at its Corporate Headquarters in Bowling Green, KY. Assist the Marketing Manager in the daily and long-term project management of diverse brand marketing vehicles for the Russell Athletic Brand. Coordinate communication, production, and scheduling with participating advertising and event services throughout the year as directed by the Supervisor. Assist in the day-to-day workflow, planning, scheduling, proofing, and coordinating with suppliers and agencies. Plus, provide support in monthly budget reconciliation across advertising, media, production, and trade show budgets. *Responsibilities/Duties Advertising: Assist with daily agency communication including proof- check and fact-check all advertising executions before submissions are finalized, and double check against scheduling/trafficking. Maintain digital library of all advertisements and provide a monthly competitive ad tracker analysis. Content Development and Execution: Assist the Manager in the production of annual Russell Athletic content. This includes support in coordinating and organizing wardrobe for photo and video shoots as well as assisting with proofreading and fact-checking, reviewing, and communicating revisions to agency. Oversee digital asset library, which includes uploading, organizing and relabeling imagery into the DAM system, and publishing/sharing with other Divisions and Customers as needed. Special Projects: Provide day-to-day support with special projects. Collaborate and coordinate cross functional teams (Admin, Merchandising, Product) on timely activations. Coordinate documentation and correspondence with agency partners; coordinate merchandising needs, samples, and marketing collateral for events. Plus, travel to activations and events, as needed. Marketing Budget: Track and monitor advertising/marketing budgets, including media, production, catalog, trade shows, selling aids, etc. to remain within budget. Responsible for processing invoices, purchase orders, prepayments, check requisitions, etc. in Oracle System. Reconcile invoices. Work with Finance to understand reported spend against actual spend and help resolve issues as necessary. Marketing Support: Support Product/Sales team on customer presentations and meeting needs. Support Digital and Ecommerce marketing team on content development for social and email marketing, including proofreading and fact checking. Required Experience One to three years of experience in advertising, digital, or creative production role is desirable. Required Qualifications * Degree in Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, a related field or equivalent years of related work experience * Basic knowledge of Advertising, promotions, public relations, social media and/or web. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. * Accuracy and attention to detail are key competencies as is having a methodical approach to planning and organization. * Computer skills in Microsoft Office is a requirement. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret corporate communications, publication rate cards, print specifications, publications schedules. * Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts with the ability to develop cost projections for projects and manage a budget.
